120 Mile Route -
The 120 mile route begins near the town of Keremeos British Columbia, in Cathedral Provincial Park and finishes in iconic E.C. Manning Provincial Park. The course is 124 Miles long, incorporating a point-to-point style route with cumulative elevation gain over 26,240 feet or 8000 meters. The majority of the course is run on very remote technical single track trail where you can experience the solitude of the Canadian wilderness. Much of the course is far from road access and will take you through some of the absolute most scenic parts of southwestern British Columbia. You will travel from valley bottoms up into high sub-alpine terrain with many panoramic views along the way.
There are 5 distinct climbs, and one river crossing at the Pasayten River (some current, rope provided). Approx 13 miles (21 km) of road (paved and gravel combined), with the remainder of the course on trails.
100 k Route Map
The 100 k route begins at the Cascade Rest Area along Highway 3, 30 min West of Manning Park Resort. The course travels along the Skagit Bluffs trail; a rolling single track to start the race. From Grainger Creek Aid Station, it follows the second half of the 120 Mile route, incorporating the Heather Trail, which is one of the most scenic trails in all of Manning Park. After a descent down from Blackwall Peak, the racers do one final big climb up Skyline to enjoy the false summits and amazing vistas of the Skyline trail. Much of the course is along remote single track trails where you can enjoy the solitude of the Canadian wilderness. There are no creek crossings, and approx 8 miles (13 km) of road (gravel and paved combined). Total elevation gain is approx 14000 feet or 4400 m.
50 Mile Route Map
The 50 mile route begins at the Cascade Rest Area along Highway 3, 30 min West of Manning Park Resort. The course travels along the Skagit Bluffs trail; a rolling single track to start the race. From Grainger Creek Aid Station, it climbs up to Nicomen Lake, then on to the Heather Trail, which is one of the most scenic trails in all of Manning Park. After a descent down from Blackwall Peak, the racers do one final big climb up Skyline to enjoy the false summits and amazing vistas of the Skyline trail. Much of the course is along remote single track trails where you can enjoy the solitude of the Canadian wilderness. There are no creek crossings, and approx 8 miles (13 km) of road (gravel and paved combined). Total elevation gain is approx 12,000 feet, or 3800 m.
